Plot summary
An aunt Samantha never knew has left her a house in rural Sader Ridge, and she drives out with her friends Mark, Caitlin and Roman to inspect the property. Eric, a young army veteran who lives nearby, meets them there and shows Samantha around. That first night he tells her she was born in Sader Ridge and spent her first five years in the house, a stretch of her life she cannot remember, and that her aunt died there. Samantha begins to see visions of brutality. The next day the friends set out to explore the property and the land around it while Eric stays behind, and as the sun sets Mark is separated from the group.
