Plot summary
Artie has no ambition, takes the worst of the bullying at school, and says nothing about still being a virgin. April, his closest friend since kindergarten, is the one he loves, and she moves away to another state. Three years pass before he finds the nerve to set out and tell her how he feels. A car crash interrupts the journey, and he comes to in the middle of a zombie apocalypse. This time he chooses to fight rather than hide. The bite on his hand could turn him before he gets to April, and what he feels for her drives him to cut and strike his way through the infected toward her.
