The Girl from Monaco (2008) on Netflix

Plot summary

Bertrand Beauvois, a successful attorney in his middle years, comes to Monte Carlo to defend Édith Lassalle, accused of killing a former lover, a man with ties to gangsters. Her son Louis, a Monaco businessman, hires him a bodyguard, Christophe Abadi, who is thorough and unsmiling. Christophe warns Beauvois to keep away from Audrey Varella, a TV weather girl in her twenties whom Christophe once dated. Beauvois ignores the warning and spends every hour outside court with Audrey; she in turn devotes her time to him. The two men have become friends, and the case against Édith Lassalle is still under way.
