Plot summary
In 800AD Scotland, warrior-king Alpin mac Eachdach is the sole survivor, along with his infant brother Finn, after a rival Pict king murders their family. Ten years later, he returns with Finn to reclaim his throne. They come upon a community whose children are being taken by mysterious Shadow Warriors. When Finn is captured, Alpin sets out to rescue him, joined by a Druid-monk named Lachlan. The trail leads into a dark forest sheltering an ancient evil.
