Plot summary
Eva Fahidi was 20 when she came home to Hungary by herself after World War II, having survived Auschwitz Birkenau; forty-nine members of her family had been murdered, among them her mother, her father and her little sister. Now 90, she is asked to join a dance theater performance made from her life story, her first time on a stage. A director pictures a duet between Eva and Emese, a young dancer of international reputation, so the two women can meet on stage and their bodies and stories can interweave. Eva agrees at once, and the three women have three months to work on the piece.
