Plot summary
The Conquest of Everest documents the expeditions that set out for the summit of Mount Everest, above all the British attempt of 1953. The climbing party includes the New Zealander Edmund Hillary and the Sherpa Tenzing Norgay, and a cameraman travels with the expedition.
