Plot summary
His Father sends Jesus Christ to Earth as the year 2000 nears, and Magdalena travels with him as his assistant. At Kennedy Airport in New York the pair pick up a laptop left in a locker, and a few keystrokes unseal the Book of Life, setting the Apocalypse and Armageddon in motion. Confronted with a humanity that is confused, without faith and absorbed in technology, Jesus begins to question the destiny chosen for him. In a New York bar, Dave, a young gambler, and Edie, the waitress in love with him, begin talking with a charismatic stranger who is the Devil in disguise.
