Plot summary
The idea for an action movie comes out of a pitch a filmmaker makes to a basketball star whose nickname is the Black Mamba, and the short is framed around the making of that fictional movie. As the pitch unfolds, the Mamba squares off against a monster and meets a man called Mr. Suave. Boss, a crime lord in the idea, is after the Mamba's Nike shoes.

- Robert Rodriguez produced, wrote and directed the six-minute short film as part of a Nike promotional campaign for the Air Kobe Zoom VI shoe, with Kobe Bryant, Bruce Willis, Danny Trejo and Kanye West all signing on to appear in it.
- Beyond its online release by Nike, the short also screened theatrically in several Los Angeles cinemas, including the famous Mann's Chinese Theatre.
