Plot summary
Jimmie runs the pool table company his family owns and watches his friends marry one by one. At Marco's wedding, Anne, his girlfriend of three years, catches the bouquet, and Jimmie decides to propose, but he spoils the moment. Insulted, Anne leaves town on an assignment. Then his grandfather's death brings a will: Jimmie stands to inherit the family business, worth a hundred million dollars, but only if he has a wife by 6:05 in the evening of his thirtieth birthday, the next day, and only if the couple stays together and tries for a child. Should he fail, a rival firm, Oden Sports, buys the business and his employees lose their jobs. Unable to reach Anne, Jimmie opens a shoebox of photographs of old girlfriends and starts tracking them down.
