Plot summary
Jon is twenty-three and has just moved from New York to Los Angeles, leaving behind a longtime girlfriend. He considers himself good with women and expects the move to put him back on the dating market. He crashes with Andy, a college friend whose circle still trades in jokes about what is gay and what is not. Reconnecting with Maddie, an old flame, brings a surprise: Maddie has a girlfriend named Anna. Jon, an aspiring photographer, takes an entry-level post at an ad agency, where Paul, a successful executive at the firm, singles him out. The attention is not something Jon's plans for a fresh start accounted for.
