Plot summary

Short of the money for passage to London, where they intend to join the Belgian Army, Indiana Jones and Remy Baudouin take jobs at a pub in Ireland in April 1916. There Indy meets the playwright Sean O'Casey and impresses two Irish girls who take him for a wealthy American. In London he meets Vicky Prentiss, a bus conductor and suffragette in the campaign for women's votes, who puts the vote before love and argues her cause with anyone who listens. He finds they have much in common and asks her to join him when he visits his old tutor, Helen Seymour.
