Plot summary
The recommendation of Coach Bobby Finstock wins Todd Howard a full athletic scholarship at Hamilton University. Finstock once coached Todd's cousin Scott at Beacontown High, and he hopes Todd carries the family genes that would make him a werewolf and turn a struggling boxing team into contenders. Todd has never been good at sports and would rather be a veterinarian, so he is sure the coach has the wrong student. At a reception for school alumni he dances with a seductive hostess and has his first wolf-out. Horrified by the family affliction, he finds other students harassing him.
