Michael Zorek
Biography
Michael Zorek is an American actor who was born in New York City, raised in Manhattan and educated at Riverdale Country School in the Bronx before studying drama at Kenyon College in Gambier, Ohio, where he graduated in 1982. He spent that year delivering singing telegrams in New York, then moved to Los Angeles in the fall. Only weeks after settling there, he tried out for Private School (1983) and came away with the part of Bubba Beauregard. More roles in films and on television followed during the next few years, though his acting work eased off by the middle of the 1980s. He supported himself with jobs in retail, including a Times Square record store after he returned to New York in 1995.
