Plot summary
Jackie Presser was the son of Bill Presser, who spent years on the Teamsters Union's board. For a generation the union served as the mob's main money machine. After Jimmy Hoffa disappeared, a fight began over who would follow him. When Bill Presser retired from the board, the union elevated Jackie to the presidency of the Teamsters, one of the country's most powerful offices. In that office Jackie played both sides of the street, working with mobsters while also dealing with the federal government.
