Plot summary
Kate Johnson is an undercover detective and a single mother. Her daughter Nina travels to Punta Dia in Belize to help at the local orphanage, and the cartel La Muerte Roja kidnaps her and holds her to be used in the human organ trade. Kate does not trust the local government to find her daughter, so she travels to Belize herself. In Punta Dia she meets Francisco Orizaga, a former marine who agrees to help her. As Kate asks about Nina's disappearance, her questions bring only silence and fearful looks from the locals, and only a few will speak of the rumors about the cartel's organ trafficking business.
