Plot summary
A loan interview goes badly for Ray Moody when he tries to explain his business to a skeptical banker, and he turns to his brother-in-law Tom for money. Stuart, a client who overeats, has booked an eight-hour session; Ray tells him he cheated on his diet and makes him eat a dozen hamburgers, and Stuart thanks him afterward. Then Anna St. Blair gets in touch, asking for a session that fills an entire weekend, and she wants Ray to hit her. He turns the job down, then calls her back and takes it. He watches her, and she sends a message asking him to be more careful.
