Plot summary

Jessy, the elder of two daughters, lives with her farming family in Poovaranmala, a rural part of Wayanad. Her mother Mary earns extra income by sewing, and Jessy, who left her studies, helps with household chores and embroidery. Benny, who has recently opened a textile shop, takes an interest in her. When Jessy dials a client about a clothing measurement, her call reaches Vishnu, an auto-rickshaw driver in Kozhikode, by mistake. The mix-up leads to more calls, the two become friends, and she falls in love with him though they have never met in person. Her parents begin searching for a groom, and after Benny's family visits, both families approve the alliance. Jessy wants to tell her parents about Vishnu, but she first arranges to meet him in Kozhikode.
