Plot summary

Janie is trying to get well. She is recovering from a violent psychotic break, and she is subjected each day to a bizarre regimen of holistic health and wellness. Her lifelong nanny and caretaker is behind that regimen. The nanny designed it, and she is the one who enforces it. Janie's days go on this way until she develops an obsession with a stranger. The fixation takes hold of her, and the buried demons she carries begin to move toward the surface.
