Plot summary
A woman named Ana finds Michelle Morgan, a vampire fledgling who has broken free of her master, Radu Vladislas, and brings her to a hospital. There a doctor says he can cure her vampirism. Radu, still recovering from the near-death Michelle and her friends dealt him, makes his way to Bucharest in search of his fledgling. He visits the stronghold of the vampire Ash, where Ash and his protege Serena set a plan to destroy Radu and draw Ana and the doctor into it.
