Plot summary
Aisling is a young orphan who lives with her grandparents, Bud and Teresa, on a farm on the edge of a small town that is fading, and she longs for adventure and romance. One night, under an eclipse, the sky opens and a star falls into the farm's field. Aisling goes out to the landing site and finds a tiny star in a crater, sparking and glowing. Raphael, an archangel, appears and seals the star, still alive, inside a locket at her heart, making her its guardian. Three criminals, Peter, Martin and Nick, watched the star fall and watched a spark turn a lead pipe into gold. As Aisling and Raphael flee the farmhouse, Joshua comes to their aid.
