Star Wars Uncut: Director's Cut (2012) on Netflix
In 2009, Casey Pugh asked thousands of Internet users to remake "Star Wars: A New Hope" into a fan film, 15 seconds at a time. Contributors were allowed to recreate scenes from Star Wars however they wanted. Within just a few months SWU grew into a wild success. The creativity that poured into the project was unimaginable.

- Star Wars Uncut won a Primetime Emmy for Outstanding Achievement in Interactive Media in 2010 after a past Emmy winner and academy member, Richard Cardran, encouraged its producers to submit it. Annelise Pruitt, Jamie Wilkinson, Casey Pugh and Chad Pugh each received an Emmy.
- Star Wars Uncut was crowdsourced: in July 2009 Casey Pugh built a website where fans signed up to recreate specific 15-second scenes of Star Wars, and votes decided which of the many submissions per scene made the final film.
