Plot summary
Chad Bruning tells seventeen-year-old Angela Curson that his love will last, and when she becomes pregnant with his child, he says he will take care of her and the baby. Angela comes to see him as deceptive and abusive, and he says he will change. She wants to leave him, and his answer is a warning about their child: if she takes the baby away from him, he will come after her and kill her.
