Plot summary
Sloane Zaro fights in mixed martial arts and her career is heading toward stardom when she comes home and witnesses the murder of her mother. The world calls her father Leonard a mobster, and he calls himself an art dealer; he has long been addicted to alcohol, drugs and women. Leonard stands trial for killing his wife, and he cannot remember whether he did it. His lawyer Tess has never won a case, and the people around him have their own interests at stake. Young and inexperienced outside the fight world, Sloane trains for the biggest fight of her career, with no one she and her father can trust.
