Plot summary
Calvin, Jimmie and Keith, three frat boys, spy on the Tri-Delta sorority and are caught. Taffy, Lisa, Babs, Rhonda and Frankie take the boys with them to steal a trophy from a nearby bowling alley. Babs's father runs the mall that contains the alley and watches the group on security cameras. Inside, the group meets Spider, a biker burgling the place with a crowbar. They get into the trophy room, and a dropped trophy frees Uncle Impie, an imp who grants each of them a single wish.

- The industrial metal band Static-X used a snippet of dialogue between Andras Jones' Calvin and Linnea Quigley's Spider in their song "I'm With Stupid", from their 1999 album Wisconsin Death Trip.
- The budget was so small that the film was shot in 12 days in September 1987, and the bowling-alley scenes had to be filmed at night while the alley was closed, until it opened at 9 a.m.
- The bowling trophy that releases the imp Uncle Impie was made of balsa wood, and early trailers gave the imp a high-pitched voice that was lowered for the final film.
