Trailer

Plot summary

It is the 1990s in Japan. Two junior high students climb a wall at their school during Christmas and find the body of a classmate. The police, the parents and the school authorities conclude that the boy killed himself, and the matter is nearly closed. Then several anonymous notes appear, accusing other students of involvement, and the possibility of murder brings new scrutiny. Rather than wait for an official answer that may never come, the students take the investigation into their own hands. They organize a mock trial, with their classmates as participants, to examine the evidence and reach their own verdict about what happened to the boy.
