Plot summary
Audrey and her husband Ethan drive to the Hamptons for the wedding of her brother Liam to Clemence, a young French woman. The wedding was moved to the weekend Audrey turns 40. Minutes before they arrive, Ethan spills coffee over her, and she gets no chance to change before the opening Shabbat dinner. There Audrey learns that Liam will rebuild the family's holiday home and wants another architect for the job, Isaac, the man she was once engaged to. The next day, at water-skiing, Clemence asks Audrey whether she is pregnant, because a hernia makes Audrey's abdomen protrude.
