Plot summary
Metodi Rashkov has spent his working life as a financial clerk, and now that job is behind him. Shy and quiet, he takes on whatever his son and daughter-in-law ask. In time the household chores are his: he buys the food, cooks the meals and minds his grandson. Rather than say so to his friends, he tells them a different account of his days, and that invention leads him into awkward situations.
