Plot summary
The family's rice mill belongs to a self-made farmer. His wife has just died. Right after her death, he brings his young mistress into the house and makes her the woman of the house. His two sons rebel against the arrangement. One of them, the older son, already lives in the same house with his common-law wife. That complicates matters further.

- Nathalie Hart's first scenes in Siphayo were the nude ones, including a shower scene revealing her bare back; the day after a sex scene with co-star Luis Alandy she cried in the bathroom and nearly quit, feeling she was making pornography.
- Director Joel Lamangan said Nathalie Hart was initially hesitant about the lead role in Siphayo once told it required full-frontal nudity, but she had no second thoughts doing it and called it a project she simply could not pass up.
