Plot summary
Calvin Khumalo, Terra Mabunda and Aldo Erasmus are freedom fighters in MK who plan to sabotage a petrol depot outside the Pretoria suburb of Silverton. The police, led by Captain Langerman, have been tipped off, and the mission collapses. The three flee toward Pretoria, losing their van, and continue on foot through the sewage tunnels. They come up through a manhole near Church Square and, spotted by police, run into Volkskas Bank. Calvin tells the clients and employees that they are not being robbed and asks them to stay calm so nobody gets hurt. The police surround the building, and Langerman addresses the three by name. They demand the release of Nelson Mandela.
