Plot summary
Three strands run through Mumbai during the festival of Ganesh Chaturthi. Tilak, who publishes unlicensed books with Mandook and Ramesh, joins his friends in kidnapping an author so they can bring out his new manuscript first. Mandook and Ramesh pull a bag from a local train and find guns and bombs inside, then ask the politician Tipu Bhaiya to find a buyer. Abhay, just back from abroad to start a small business, refuses the protection money the local mafia demands, and the men begin following him and Shalmili. Sawan, a young cricketer hoping for a place in the under-22 Mumbai team, is told by a selector to pay for his spot, and the money is more than he can raise.
