Plot summary
Rose, Norman, Chuck, Beverly, Keith and Dobbs are aboard a small recreational boat when the engine gives them trouble and an orange haze sends the navigation system haywire. At night a cargo ship looms out of the dark and rams them, and the captain's flare reveals a huge, rotting vessel stranded on a nearby reef. By morning the captain is missing and their boat is filling with water, so the group rows to an island, where they find a rundown hotel and the old man living in it. He is alarmed by their story and insists that no shipwreck lies on the island. Below the water, zombie-like men walk the ocean floor toward the shore.
