Plot summary
Chau and Beethoven are Hong Kong police officers and longtime partners. Chau is about to marry his fiancée Anna, which leaves Beethoven, his friend and colleague, looking for a place of his own. Government money that their former boss, Inspector Chan, was responsible for has gone missing, and the thief is believed to be the notorious Flying Spider. Chan takes the blame for the loss. Moved out of their old unit to a department headed by Inspector Tien, the two men set out to find the thief and prove Chan's innocence. Beethoven also meets Mimi, the Flying Spider's daughter, and falls in love with her.
