Plot summary
The idea for a feature that the two of them have been discussing for some time takes them to the 2012 Cannes Film Festival, where they look for investors and record the attempt. Their days fill with pitch sessions with producers, and with conversations with directors and actors about how the industry works. Several of the directors they approach are already acquaintances, and one actress becomes part of the film after a chance meeting at the Carlton Hotel in Cannes. Producers, financiers and distributors are among the people they meet. The film they are pitching is the next feature they want to make.
