Scare Me (2020) on Netflix

Plot summary

Fred is an actor and writer with little work, so he takes a cabin in the mountains and pays Bettina, another aspiring writer, to drive him there and back. Out on a run he meets Fanny, who wrote the praised horror novel Venus and is staying in a nearby cabin. She is not impressed by the way he justifies himself as a writer. When a storm cuts the power, Fanny comes to his door, and over drinks she dares him to frighten her with a story. His first attempt falls flat, so he tells about a boy who saw a werewolf kill his parents and grew up to seek revenge. Fanny objects that the story centers on a white man.
