Plot summary
An influential villager is murdered, and Pradeep, a gullible simpleton, comes upon the body in a remote spot. The dead person's gold chain and mobile lie with it, and Pradeep decides the honest course is to surrender them at the police station. The officers there are greedy and refuse to accept that his intentions are true, taking him into custody instead. Saving himself from the repercussions now falls to Pradeep alone.
