Plot summary
Ron Hall is a successful art dealer in Fort Worth, Texas, with a flourishing business, a large house, two teenage children and a wife, Debbie. He confesses to her that he has had an affair. Debbie is deeply upset but offers him another chance on one condition: he must join her in helping out at a local homeless shelter. Ron is cynical about the place and eager to leave. Both of them notice a violent man among the shelter community, and Debbie persuades Ron to offer the man his friendship instead. The man introduces himself as Denver, and he and the couple begin to spend time together.
