Wilson Cruz

Wilson Cruz is an American actor, born in Brooklyn and raised in Rialto, California, who headed to Hollywood to find acting work and got his break in 1994 as the troubled teenager Rickie Vasquez on the short-lived series My So-Called Life. After its cancellation he played Joaquin in Oliver Stone's Nixon and appeared in the television movie On Seventh Avenue, then took the part of Mikey in Johns (1996). His other film credits include All Over Me (1997), Supernova (2000), Party Monster (2003), Coffee Date (2006), and The People I've Slept With (2009), and he starred as Adrian in The Ode (2007). On television he played Victor for the last season of Party of Five, took a recurring part as Rafael de la Cruz on Raising the Bar, and played Dr. Hugh Culber on Star Trek: Discovery, a part he held from 2017 to 2024.
