Wilmer Calderon
Biography
Wilmer Calderon is a Puerto Rican actor who works in film and television. Born in Santurce, San Juan, he grew up in Brandon, Florida, and studied at Marshall University, where he first took to acting. He made his screen debut in 1995 as Angelo in the crime drama Dead Man Walking, then moved to television the following year with The Mystery Files of Shelby Woo. He went on to appear in The Bold and the Beautiful, ER, Pacific Blue and NYPD Blue, and is known for playing Ricky in the FX drama The Shield, Diego in the Amazon Prime series Borderline and Detective Daniel Arias in Bosch. His film credits include Estrada in the drama Annapolis (2006). He has also appeared in Castle, Grey's Anatomy and The Mentalist, and in an episode of The Night Shift in 2017.
