Thordis Brandt

Thordis Brandt was a German-American actress who worked mostly as a bit player in film and television. Born in Germany and raised in Canada, she trained as a nurse before moving to Santa Monica, where she became known as the actor's nurse after caring for Patricia Neal. She began her screen career as a nurse advisor on Ben Casey, where she also appeared. She later appeared on series including Burke's Law, The Man from UNCLE, The Green Hornet, and Hogan's Heroes. Her films began with The Last of the Secret Agents? and Nevada Smith, both in 1966, and included Funny Girl (1968), Spinout (1966), and The Witchmaker (1969). She also acted in In Like Flint and the Elvis Presley film Live a Little, Love a Little. She gained a minor cult following as a serial killer's victim in the television movie Dragnet 1966. After leaving acting, she continued to work as a nurse in Beverly Hills.
