Simon Northwood

Simon Northwood is an actor and stunt performer who was born in Wimbledon, England, and settled in Burlington, Ontario, after a childhood spent moving between the United States and Canada. He trained in Wado Kai Karate, earned a fourth degree black belt and competed for 24 years, joining the Canadian National Karate team in 2000. After studying animation at Sheridan College, he spent a decade in the field, including a post as an F/X animator at Disney Studios Canada. He then trained as an action actor, wanting speaking parts and the chance to handle his own stunts. He appeared in more than 50 film and television productions, among them the feature Outlander (2008), Repo Men and Wolves, and the series Nikita, Lost Girl, Alphas and IIIX The Series. He also did stunt work on 300, Immortals, Red, Robocop, Clown, Pacific Rim and White House Down.
