Biography

Ray Chase is an American voice actor known for roles across video games, anime, animation, and audiobooks. He grew up around Las Vegas, Nevada, and earned a Bachelor of Arts from USC in 2009. His earliest work came through auditions on Voice123, and he narrated roughly 200 audiobooks before branching into games and anime. Among his first lead parts was Noctis Lucis Caelum in Final Fantasy XV (2016); around the same period he appeared in One Punch Man and Charlotte. Later he voiced the protagonist of the 2021 remaster of Nier, a part that took more than a year, and played the villain in James Wan's film Malignant, which brought a Critics' Choice Super Award nomination for Best Villain in a Movie. From 2024 he voiced Cyclops in X-Men '97. With Robbie Daymond he founded Sassy Chap Games in 2018, and served as lead designer on its 2025 release Date Everything!, voicing several characters.
