Biography
Matt Ryan is a Welsh actor whose work spans screen, voice, and stage. Born in Swansea in 1981, he appeared as Gavroche in a West End production of Les Misérables at age ten, later graduating from Bristol Old Vic in 2003 and joining the Royal Shakespeare Company in 2004. He played FBI agent Mick Rawson on Criminal Minds: Suspect Behavior and provided the voice and motion capture for Edward Kenway in the video game Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag. He starred as John Constantine in NBC's Constantine, then reprised the role in The CW's Arrow and Legends of Tomorrow, becoming a series regular for the fourth season. He voiced Constantine in the animated film Justice League Dark (2017) and in the web series Constantine: City of Demons. On stage, he appeared as Laurent in Thérèse Raquin at the Roundabout Theater and in Knives in Hens at the Donmar Warehouse.
