Lewis Macleod

Biography

Lewis MacLeod is a Scottish actor and impressionist from Glasgow whose early interest in dubbing and impressions led him to make an amateur dub at 14. He voices many fictional characters, including Sebulba in The Phantom Menace (1999), Mr. Stubborn on The Mr. Men Show, Postman Pat in the children's series Postman Pat, and the Earl on Skatoony. Since 1996 he has worked often as a voice actor for games, playing the Martians in Jeff Wayne's The War of the Worlds, Albus Dumbledore in Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire, Obi-Wan Kenobi in Star Wars: Galactic Battlegrounds, and King Coaster in Planet Coaster. His television work includes The Crown, Endeavour, Look Around You, and Phoenix Nights, plus Orson Welles on Toast of Tinseltown. As an impressionist he has appeared on Dead Ringers, Spitting Image, Newzoids, and BBC Radio 2, and he hosted Lewis MacLeod's Wired News on BBC Radio Scotland from 2013 to 2016.
