Plot summary
In 2100 the Earth is flooded, and humanity has gone elsewhere, but a colony of sea creatures lives on in the depths of the Atlantic Ocean. The colossal squid Kraken gathered them there and keeps the colony safe. His grandson Deep finds the days dull, though he is curious about the objects people left behind, and he spends his time with the anglerfish Evo and the shrimp Alice. A prank of Deep's goes wrong and leaves the colony hemmed in by stones. Kraken tells him that only the whale Nathan can help, and gives him the landmarks that lead to Nathan. Deep sets off with Evo and Alice to find him.
