Biography

Lee Oakes is a retired English actor who grew up in Haslington, Cheshire and attended the Gateway Youth Theatre in Chester. He became best known for two television roles: Munch Wilkinson in the comedy Two Pints of Lager and a Packet of Crisps, which ran from 2003 to 2008, and Kev in After You've Gone, which ran from 2007 to 2008. His film work includes DragonHeart (1996), Daylight (1996), Club Le Monde (2002), Alien Autopsy (2006) and Harry Brown (2009), in which he appeared alongside Michael Caine. He also worked in theater, notably in Once Upon a Time in Wigan and Sparkleshark at the Royal National Theatre. His television credits include The Lakes, Heartbeat, Holby City, The Bill, Blue Murder, Casualty, Coronation Street, where he appeared in 2009, and Emmerdale, in which he played Mickey Hall.
