Larry Wilcox

Larry Wilcox, born in San Diego and raised in Rawlins, Wyoming, is an American actor who studied drama at the University of Wyoming before taking television guest roles in the early 1970s. He appeared in Room 222, Lassie, and Cannon, and played Moose Meyers in The Girl Most Likely To (1973). His film work included The Last Hard Men (1976) and The Last Ride of the Dalton Gang. Wilcox became best known as California Highway Patrol officer Jon Baker on NBC's CHiPs, which ran from 1977 to 1983; he did many of his own stunts and left before the final season. Afterward he formed Wilcox Productions, which made the award-winning HBO series The Ray Bradbury Theater, and was executive producer of Death of a Centerfold: The Dorothy Stratten Story. He kept acting in The Dirty Dozen: Next Mission (1985) and later appeared in 30 Rock and 94 Feet.
