Justin Martin
Biography
Justin Martin is an actor from Atlanta, Georgia, who began performing at age seven and was discovered by agent Joy Pervis. After two years of commercials and local theater work, he traveled to Los Angeles in 2003 for pilot season. That season brought him two national commercials, roles in Malcolm in the Middle and The Bernie Mac Show, and a part in Doing Hard Time. He returned for pilot season in 2004 and booked a national commercial plus work on Judging Amy and Drake and Josh. In 2005 he was invited to New York to try out for Young Simba in Disney's The Lion King on Broadway, and he made his Broadway debut in March 2006, staying in the role for a year. While appearing on Broadway, he played Travis in A Raisin in the Sun, the television movie based on Lorraine Hansberry's work. He later took the role of Donnie in High School Musical 3: Senior Year (2008).
