Jon Kortajarena

Jon Kortajarena is a Spanish model and actor who was born in Bilbao and entered fashion after being discovered in 2003 while in Barcelona. His first professional job was a Madrid Fashion Week show for Roberto Verino, and in 2004 he became the face of Just Cavalli in a Roberto Cavalli spring campaign. He made his international runway debut at the Milan and Paris fashion weeks for Emporio Armani and John Galliano, and Steven Meisel photographed him for Versace. He also walked for Chanel, Balmain, Etro and Valentino. He appeared in campaigns for H&M, Zara, Guess and Tom Ford. Forbes ranked him eighth among the world's most successful male models in 2009, and he was named Model of the Year by German GQ and Best Spanish Model by Spain's Marie Claire awards. He also acted, playing Alex in a 2020 episode of Amazon Prime Video's Tales from the Loop.
