John Harron
Biography
John Harron, sometimes billed as Johnnie Harron, was an actor born in New York City in 1903, the younger brother of silent film star Robert Harron. He began his movie career with a small, unbilled part in one of his brother's classic films, Hearts of the World (1918), and then played young, innocent romantic leads opposite leading actresses of the silent screen. He appeared in hundreds of films, with starring or co-starring roles in jazz-era pictures such as The $5 Baby (1922) and Dulcy (1923), though he never reached the fame of his brother. When sound arrived, he returned to bit and unbilled parts in second-string films. He died in 1939.
