Jodi Carlisle
Biography
Jodi Carlisle is an American actress, born in Joliet, who has worked in television, film, video games and the stage, and is known especially for her voice roles. She began voice work in 1982 on the cartoon series Pac-Man, and later played Wendy Richter and The Fabulous Moolah on the Saturday morning cartoon Hulk Hogan's Rock 'n' Wrestling. Her most popular role is Marianne Thornberry, the clan mother in the Nickelodeon animated series The Wild Thornberrys, which she voiced across all 90 episodes from 1998 to 2004 and in the films The Wild Thornberrys Movie (2002) and Rugrats Go Wild (2003). Her live action television work has consisted largely of guest parts, including Desperate Housewives and Malcolm in the Middle. On stage she has been an Associate Artist with the Colony Theater in Los Angeles, and in 1997 she received the LA Drama Critics Circle Natalie Schafer Award.
